Glen Farmhouse was listed Grade II, but stood on the site of a new housing development. The oak frame is very attractive and the joisted ceilings superb. The house had been extended with a more modern (17th C) wing, which had already been substantially destroyed by the developer. We would propose that this lost wing be reinstated, using another frame or reclaimed beams, when the building is rebuilt - perhaps as shown in the sketch below.
